HAQQ NIKAH TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Haqq Nikah.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Haqq Nikah website, Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction service, forms, communications, social-media content, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, submitting information to Haqq Nikah, or participating in a Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use or participate in the Service.

Haqq Nikah is a Muslim marriage-introduction service.

Marriage is the intention from the beginning.


1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to pursue marriage in order to participate in a Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction or use the Service for the purpose of seeking a spouse.

By participating, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
• You are using Haqq Nikah for a genuine marriage-related purpose.
• The information you provide about yourself is truthful to the best of your knowledge.

Haqq Nikah may decline participation or remove content when we reasonably believe these requirements have not been met.


2. PURPOSE OF HAQQ NIKAH

Haqq Nikah exists to help Muslims make meaningful first introductions for the purpose of marriage.

A Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction allows a marriage prospect to see the person, hear the person, and learn information relevant to deciding whether there is enough initial interest to pursue a serious marriage inquiry.

Haqq Nikah is not intended to be a dating service.

A Marriage Introduction is only a first introduction. It does not establish compatibility, verify a person's character, or determine whether two people should marry.

Participants, prospective spouses, families, walis, wakeels, and others involved in the marriage process remain responsible for conducting appropriate investigation before marriage.


3. HAQQ NIKAH MARRIAGE INTRODUCTIONS

Haqq Nikah may offer Marriage Introductions through formats including:

• A Haqq Nikah video interview
• A self-recorded video
• A voice interview accompanied by photographs
• Other formats Haqq Nikah may introduce in the future

Marriage Introductions may contain information voluntarily provided by participants, including information concerning:

• Age
• General location
• General occupation
• Marital status
• Children
• Desire for children
• Islamic practice
• Interests
• Marriage expectations
• What the participant is seeking in a spouse
• Non-negotiables
• Marriage, home, and family goals
• Other information relevant to a marriage introduction

Haqq Nikah determines the general format, presentation, editing style, and publication method for Marriage Introductions.


4. PARTICIPANT INFORMATION MUST BE TRUTHFUL

Participants agree to provide truthful and materially accurate information.

You may not intentionally:

• Provide false information about your identity or age
• Misrepresent your marital status
• Conceal a current marriage when asked about marital status
• Falsely represent whether you have children
• Materially misrepresent your religious practice
• Impersonate another person
• Submit photographs, video, or audio falsely representing another person as yourself
• Materially misrepresent your occupation, location, intentions, or marriage circumstances
• Use Haqq Nikah to deceive, defraud, exploit, or manipulate another person

Haqq Nikah may ask for clarification when information appears inconsistent or raises reasonable concerns.

Haqq Nikah may decline, pause, edit, unpublish, or remove a Marriage Introduction if we reasonably believe materially important information has been intentionally misrepresented.


5. HAQQ NIKAH DOES NOT GUARANTEE OR VERIFY EVERY CLAIM

Although Haqq Nikah expects participants to be truthful, Haqq Nikah cannot independently verify every statement made by every participant.

Unless Haqq Nikah expressly states otherwise in a particular circumstance, the appearance of a participant on Haqq Nikah does not mean that Haqq Nikah has independently verified or endorsed that person's:

• Character
• Religious practice or level of religious knowledge
• Marital history or current marital circumstances
• Employment or income
• Financial condition or debt
• Education
• Family circumstances
• Criminal history
• Health
• Immigration or citizenship status
• Personal history
• References
• Marriage intentions
• Compatibility with another person
• Statements or representations

Participants, prospective spouses, walis, families, and others involved in the marriage process should conduct their own appropriate investigation before making marriage decisions.


6. AUTHENTICITY

Authenticity is an important principle of Haqq Nikah.

Participants should present themselves as they actually are rather than creating a false or materially misleading image for potential marriage prospects.

Photographs should be recent and should reasonably represent the participant's current appearance.

Video and voice recordings should genuinely represent the participant.

Answers concerning dīn, family circumstances, lifestyle, marriage expectations, and other relevant matters should be given truthfully.

Haqq Nikah does not expect participants to present themselves as perfect. The purpose is to provide a sincere and meaningful first introduction.


7. PARTICIPANT MEDIA AND PUBLICATION PERMISSION

Participants may voluntarily submit photographs, video, audio, voice recordings, written responses, and other materials ("Participant Media") for the creation of a Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction.

By submitting Participant Media for a Marriage Introduction and agreeing to Haqq Nikah's Consent & Publication terms, you authorize Haqq Nikah to use, reproduce, edit, format, combine, publish, display, and distribute the authorized Participant Media for:

• Creating your Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction
• Publishing and presenting that Marriage Introduction
• Promoting or identifying that specific Marriage Introduction
• Creating directly related Haqq Nikah content featuring or referencing that introduction
• Formatting the introduction for different websites or social-media platforms

This permission is non-exclusive and royalty-free.

You retain ownership of Participant Media that you own.

Haqq Nikah will not intentionally edit your statements in a manner designed to materially change their meaning.

Haqq Nikah will not sell your submitted Participant Media or use it for unrelated advertising without separate permission.


8. PUBLIC NATURE OF MARRIAGE INTRODUCTIONS

Participants understand that Haqq Nikah Marriage Introductions may be publicly available.

Marriage Introductions may be published on:

• The Haqq Nikah website
• Facebook
• Instagram
• TikTok
• YouTube
• X
• Other Haqq Nikah-controlled or authorized social-media channels or platforms

Once content is publicly available, people outside Haqq Nikah may view, screenshot, screen-record, download, share, repost, discuss, or otherwise reproduce it.

Haqq Nikah cannot control every action taken by third parties after content has been publicly published.

Participants should consider this carefully before authorizing publication.


9. REVIEW AND APPROVAL

When Haqq Nikah provides a participant with an opportunity to review a completed Marriage Introduction before its first publication, the participant is responsible for reviewing it carefully.

The participant should promptly notify Haqq Nikah of any material factual error or reasonable concern before approving publication.

Approval authorizes Haqq Nikah to proceed with publication according to the participant's Consent & Publication terms.

Approval does not prevent a participant from later requesting removal from platforms controlled by Haqq Nikah as described below.


10. REQUESTING REMOVAL

A participant may request that Haqq Nikah remove their Marriage Introduction from platforms controlled by Haqq Nikah.

Haqq Nikah will make reasonable efforts to remove the content from platforms and accounts under its control.

Removal does not revoke or erase actions that lawfully occurred while permission was in effect.

Haqq Nikah cannot guarantee removal of:

• Screenshots
• Screen recordings
• Downloads
• Third-party reposts
• Social-media shares
• Search-engine caches
• Archived webpages
• Copies maintained by other individuals
• Content located on accounts, websites, or systems not controlled by Haqq Nikah

Haqq Nikah may retain limited internal records when reasonably necessary for consent records, legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.


11. MARRIAGE INQUIRIES AND COMMUNICATION

Haqq Nikah may provide or facilitate methods through which serious marriage interest can proceed to a marriage inquiry.

The exact process may vary depending on the circumstances and the services Haqq Nikah is offering at that time.

Haqq Nikah encourages marriage inquiries to proceed seriously and respectfully rather than developing into casual dating or endless private conversation.

When appropriate, the process should move toward wali, wakeel, family involvement, and proper investigation of compatibility and character.

Users may not use Haqq Nikah to:

• Harass another person
• Threaten or intimidate another person
• Send obscene or sexually explicit material
• Engage in fraud or financial exploitation
• Repeatedly contact someone who has clearly declined further communication
• Collect participant information for unrelated commercial purposes
• Spam participants
• Publicly expose private information obtained through a marriage inquiry
• Use Haqq Nikah primarily for dating, casual sexual relationships, or purposes materially inconsistent with the marriage-focused nature of the Service


12. THE ROLE OF THE WALI AND FAMILY

Haqq Nikah recognizes the important role of the wali (guardian) in the Islamic marriage process.

Haqq Nikah Marriage Introductions are intended to help establish enough initial awareness and interest for a serious marriage inquiry to begin.

When genuine interest develops, Haqq Nikah encourages appropriate wali, wakeel, or family involvement and proper investigation before marriage.

Haqq Nikah does not ordinarily act as a participant's wali, wakeel, guardian, legal representative, or marriage decision-maker unless a separate arrangement expressly states otherwise.


13. RELIGIOUS INFORMATION AND CONTENT

Haqq Nikah is designed around Islamic marriage principles and may contain references to the Qur'an, Sunnah, Islamic teachings, marriage practices, and religious terminology.

However, general information presented by Haqq Nikah should not be understood as individualized religious advice or a substitute for consulting a qualified person of Islamic knowledge regarding a particular religious question or circumstance.

A participant's statements about his or her religious practice, beliefs, knowledge, or conduct are the participant's own representations unless Haqq Nikah expressly states otherwise.


14. PERSONAL SAFETY AND DUE DILIGENCE

Marriage is a serious decision.

Users should exercise reasonable caution when interacting with someone they first encounter through Haqq Nikah.

Before making significant marriage decisions, individuals and families should consider appropriate investigation concerning matters important to them.

This may include, where appropriate:

• Character and reputation
• Religious practice
• Family circumstances
• Marital history
• References
• Financial expectations
• Living arrangements
• Children
• Marriage expectations
• Compatibility
• Other matters relevant to the proposed marriage

Do not send money, banking information, passwords, identification documents, or other highly sensitive information to a marriage prospect merely because you encountered that person through Haqq Nikah.

If meeting someone in person, participants are responsible for making appropriate safety arrangements.


15. NO GUARANTEE OF MARRIAGE, COMPATIBILITY, OR OUTCOME

Haqq Nikah does not guarantee:

• That a participant will receive marriage inquiries
• That another person will be interested in a participant
• That an inquiry will progress
• That two people will be compatible
• That an engagement or nikah will occur
• That a marriage will be successful
• That another person's statements are accurate
• That another person will behave appropriately
• Any particular religious, emotional, financial, family, immigration, or personal outcome

Marriage decisions remain the responsibility of the individuals involved and, where applicable, their families, walis, wakeels, or advisers.


16. RIGHT TO DECLINE, PAUSE, EDIT, OR REMOVE CONTENT

Haqq Nikah reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to decline participation or refuse, pause, edit, unpublish, or remove content when reasonably necessary to:

• Enforce these Terms
• Protect participants
• Address suspected fraud or material misrepresentation
• Address inappropriate, unlawful, threatening, obscene, or abusive content
• Protect Haqq Nikah's reputation or integrity
• Comply with legal obligations
• Address intellectual-property or privacy concerns
• Maintain the marriage-focused purpose of the Service
• Protect the safety or rights of others

Haqq Nikah is not obligated to publish every submission it receives.


17. PROHIBITED USE

You may not use Haqq Nikah to:

• Violate applicable law
• Commit or facilitate fraud
• Impersonate another person
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse another person
• Distribute malicious software
• Attempt unauthorized access to Haqq Nikah systems
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect participant information without authorization
• Use participant content to create unauthorized databases or directories
• Use Haqq Nikah content for deceptive or unlawful purposes
• Infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
• Commercially exploit Haqq Nikah content without authorization


18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Haqq Nikah name, branding, logos, website design, original written content, Marriage Introduction format, graphics, and other original Haqq Nikah materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property laws.

Except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by Haqq Nikah, you may not reproduce, republish, sell, modify, commercially exploit, or represent Haqq Nikah materials as your own.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of a participant's independently owned photographs, recordings, or other Participant Media to Haqq Nikah.


19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND SOCIAL-MEDIA PLATFORMS

Haqq Nikah may use third-party services including online forms, website hosting, email, file storage, communication services, social-media platforms, and other technology providers.

These services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

Haqq Nikah is not responsible for outages, security incidents, policy changes, content moderation decisions, account restrictions, or other actions taken independently by third-party providers.

Use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers' terms.


20. PRIVACY

Use of Haqq Nikah is also subject to the Haqq Nikah Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how Haqq Nikah collects, uses, publishes, stores, and shares information.

Participants should also review the applicable Consent & Publication terms before submitting media for a Marriage Introduction.


21. FEES AND PAID SERVICES

Haqq Nikah may offer free or paid services.

If fees are introduced or charged for a particular service, the applicable price and material payment terms should be disclosed before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law, payment for a service does not guarantee marriage, inquiries, interest from another person, or any particular outcome.

Additional payment, cancellation, or refund terms may be provided for particular paid services if and when they are offered.


22. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

Haqq Nikah may modify, suspend, discontinue, expand, or change portions of the Service at any time.

We do not guarantee that the website, forms, social-media accounts, Marriage Introduction services, or other features will always be available without interruption.

Haqq Nikah may introduce new services, formats, or features as the project develops.


23. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

HAQQ NIKAH MAKES NO GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY PERSON OR CIRCUMSTANCE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAQQ NIKAH DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES THAT MAY OTHERWISE ARISE REGARDING THE SERVICE, EXCEPT FOR WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.


24. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HAQQ NIKAH AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SERVICE.

HAQQ NIKAH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INDEPENDENT ACTIONS, STATEMENTS, OMISSIONS, MISREPRESENTATIONS, OR CONDUCT OF PARTICIPANTS, MARRIAGE PROSPECTS, FAMILY MEMBERS, Walis, WAKEELS, OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.


25. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your material violation of these Terms, your infringement of another person's rights, or content you submit without the necessary rights or permission.

This provision does not require you to indemnify Haqq Nikah for conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.


26. REPORTING CONCERNS

If you believe a participant has materially misrepresented important information, is misusing Haqq Nikah, is impersonating another person, is engaging in harassment, or presents a legitimate safety concern, you may contact Haqq Nikah.

Haqq Nikah may review reports and take action it considers reasonably appropriate.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.

Knowingly making malicious or intentionally false reports is prohibited.


27. TERMINATION OR RESTRICTION OF ACCESS

Haqq Nikah may restrict or terminate a person's access to the Service, decline future participation, or remove content when reasonably necessary because of:

• Material violation of these Terms
• Fraud or deception
• Harassment or threats
• Serious safety concerns
• Misuse of participant information
• Repeated inappropriate conduct
• Unlawful activity
• Material misrepresentation
• Other conduct that substantially undermines the purpose or integrity of Haqq Nikah

Where appropriate, Haqq Nikah may take action without prior notice.


28. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Haqq Nikah may update these Terms as the Service develops or as legal, operational, or technological requirements change.

Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.

Changes apply prospectively to the extent required by applicable law.

Where consent is legally required for a particular change, Haqq Nikah will seek that consent as required.


29. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.


30. NO WAIVER

If Haqq Nikah does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not necessarily waive the right to enforce that provision later.


31. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the Haqq Nikah Privacy Policy, applicable Consent & Publication terms, and any additional terms expressly presented for a particular service, constitute the agreement governing use of the Haqq Nikah Service.

If specific terms presented for a particular paid service or Marriage Introduction conflict with these general Terms, the more specific terms will control with respect to that particular service to the extent of the conflict.
