Haqq Nikah respects your privacy and recognizes the importance of protecting the personal information, photographs, video, audio, communications, and other information entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Haqq Nikah may collect, how that information may be used or shared, the distinction between private information and information authorized for public Marriage Introductions, and the choices available to participants and visitors.

Haqq Nikah is a Muslim marriage-introduction service. Marriage is the intention from the beginning.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Haqq Nikah and which part of the marriage-introduction process you choose to use.

Information you voluntarily provide may include:

• Full name
• Public display name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Age
• General location, such as city, region, state, or country
• General occupation, work, or education status
• Religious background
• Current marital status
• Information about whether you have children
• Information about whether you desire children in the future
• Willingness to relocate
• Information you choose to provide regarding your Islamic practice
• Information about your interests and everyday life
• What you are seeking in a spouse
• Marriage non-negotiables
• Marriage, home, and family goals
• Photographs
• Video recordings
• Voice or audio recordings
• Written answers or other information submitted for a Marriage Introduction
• Information submitted through Private Sister Registration
• Information submitted through a Serious Marriage Inquiry Form
• Communications with Haqq Nikah
• Father/wali, wakeel, trusted family member, reference, or other third-party contact information when voluntarily provided
• Other information you voluntarily provide to us

Haqq Nikah seeks to collect information reasonably related to operating the service and facilitating serious marriage introductions and inquiries. Participants should avoid submitting highly sensitive or unnecessary personal information that Haqq Nikah has not requested.

Haqq Nikah allows eligible participants to create a Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction.

A Marriage Introduction may be created through:

• A Haqq Nikah video interview
• A self-recorded video
• A voice interview presented with photographs
• Other introduction formats that Haqq Nikah may offer in the future

Marriage Introductions are intended to allow serious marriage prospects to see the person, hear the person, and learn information relevant to deciding whether there is enough initial interest to pursue marriage further.

Depending on the participant's authorization, Marriage Introductions may be published publicly through Haqq Nikah's website, social-media accounts, or other platforms used by Haqq Nikah.

A Marriage Introduction does not establish compatibility, certify a participant, guarantee the accuracy of everything stated by a participant, or determine whether two people should marry.

Further investigation and appropriate family involvement remain important parts of the marriage process.

Haqq Nikah provides a Private Sister Registration process that allows a woman to participate privately while seeking marriage.

Private Sister Registration is not a public Marriage Introduction.

Information submitted through Private Sister Registration is not intended to be publicly displayed merely because a sister registers, and brothers do not browse Private Sister Registrations or automatically receive a sister's personal information simply because she has registered.

A sister is not required to submit a photograph merely to complete Private Sister Registration.

Private Sister Registration allows Haqq Nikah to understand basic information about the sister and what she is seeking while allowing her to view available Marriage Introductions and decide if and when she becomes genuinely interested in pursuing a particular brother for marriage.

Additional information may be requested when reasonably necessary to facilitate a particular Serious Marriage Inquiry or another appropriate stage of the marriage-introduction process.

When a sister becomes genuinely interested in learning more about a particular brother for the purpose of marriage, she may submit a Serious Marriage Inquiry Form.

The Serious Marriage Inquiry Form is the form used to provide information to Haqq Nikah. The resulting process is referred to as a Serious Marriage Inquiry or inquiry.

Submitting a Serious Marriage Inquiry Form expresses genuine interest in learning more about a particular brother for the purpose of marriage. It does not create a match, engagement, promise of marriage, or agreement to marry, and it does not guarantee that the brother will choose to proceed.

Haqq Nikah may review information submitted through the Serious Marriage Inquiry Form before presenting the inquiry to the brother. Haqq Nikah may also contact the sister for clarification before deciding whether the inquiry is ready to be presented.

Information submitted through a Serious Marriage Inquiry Form is not intended for public display merely because it was submitted.

Certain information may, however, be shared privately with the specific brother or other appropriate persons as reasonably necessary to present and facilitate that Serious Marriage Inquiry.

Submitting a Serious Marriage Inquiry Form does not automatically authorize an exchange of personal phone numbers, email addresses, social-media accounts, or other direct contact information between the sister and brother.

Haqq Nikah may request a recent photograph from a sister when she submits a Serious Marriage Inquiry Form regarding a particular brother.

A photograph submitted for a Serious Marriage Inquiry is different from media submitted for a public Marriage Introduction.

A sister's Serious Marriage Inquiry photograph is not intended to be publicly posted by Haqq Nikah merely because she submitted it.

The photograph may be shared privately with the specific brother as part of presenting or facilitating her Serious Marriage Inquiry.

It may also be accessed or processed by Haqq Nikah and service providers reasonably necessary to receive, store, transmit, administer, or facilitate the inquiry.

Submission of a photograph for a Serious Marriage Inquiry does not authorize Haqq Nikah to use that photograph as a public Marriage Introduction or publicly publish it for promotional purposes unless separate authorization is provided.

Submitting information to Haqq Nikah does not mean that every piece of information submitted will be made public.

Haqq Nikah generally handles information according to the purpose for which it was provided.

Information submitted through Private Sister Registration is intended for private participation and administrative use as described in this Privacy Policy. It is not intended to create a publicly browsable sister profile.

Information submitted through a Serious Marriage Inquiry Form is intended to facilitate an inquiry concerning a particular brother. Appropriate portions may be privately presented or shared as reasonably necessary to facilitate that inquiry.

Information and media submitted and authorized for a Marriage Introduction may be publicly displayed.

Depending on the participant's submission and authorization, public Marriage Introduction information may include:

• Public display name
• Age
• General location
• General occupation
• Marital status
• Whether the participant has children
• Whether the participant desires children
• General information regarding Islamic practice
• Interests and hobbies
• What the participant is seeking in a spouse
• Non-negotiables
• Marriage and family goals
• Photographs
• Video
• Voice/audio
• Other information provided and authorized for the Marriage Introduction

Private contact information, such as a personal phone number or email address, will not ordinarily be included in a public Marriage Introduction unless separately authorized for publication.

Participants providing material for a public Marriage Introduction should not submit or authorize for public presentation information they do not want publicly disclosed.

When a participant voluntarily provides photographs, video, voice recordings, audio, written answers, or other media for a Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction, Haqq Nikah may use that material as authorized by the participant and applicable consent and publication terms.

This may include editing submitted material for:

• Length
• Clarity
• Formatting
• Presentation
• Audio quality
• Video quality
• Organization
• Social-media presentation

Haqq Nikah will not intentionally edit a participant's statements in a manner designed to materially change their meaning.

Authorized Marriage Introduction media may be published on platforms operated or used by Haqq Nikah, including Haqq Nikah's website and social-media accounts.

Once material is published publicly on the internet or social media, other people may view, save, screenshot, record, download, share, repost, or otherwise distribute that material beyond Haqq Nikah's control.

Haqq Nikah cannot guarantee deletion or removal of copies made, stored, or distributed by third parties.

Where Haqq Nikah offers a participant the opportunity to review a completed Marriage Introduction before its first publication, the participant should review the introduction carefully and promptly communicate any material concerns.

Publication approval does not prevent a participant from later requesting removal of the Marriage Introduction from platforms controlled by Haqq Nikah.

However, removal from Haqq Nikah-controlled platforms cannot guarantee removal of copies, screenshots, recordings, reposts, downloads, search-engine caches, archived material, or other copies held or distributed by third parties.

Haqq Nikah may use information we collect to:

• Review participation requests
• Administer Private Sister Registrations
• Communicate with participants
• Conduct Marriage Introduction interviews
• Create and edit Marriage Introductions
• Publish authorized Marriage Introductions
• Receive and review Serious Marriage Inquiry Forms
• Facilitate Serious Marriage Inquiries
• Determine whether clarification or additional information is needed
• Facilitate appropriate father/wali, wakeel, trusted family member, or other appropriate involvement
• Respond to questions or requests
• Operate and improve Haqq Nikah
• Maintain appropriate records of submissions, consent, authorization, and communications
• Protect the integrity and safety of the service
• Investigate suspected fraud, misrepresentation, misuse, or violations of our policies
• Comply with applicable legal obligations
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights
• Protect the rights, safety, and property of Haqq Nikah, participants, or others

Haqq Nikah does not sell participants' submitted photographs, video, voice recordings, or personal information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

During a Serious Marriage Inquiry or other appropriate stage of the process, Haqq Nikah may request information concerning a sister's father/wali, wakeel, trusted family member, or another person appropriately involved in the marriage process.

Information provided may include that person's:

• Name
• Relationship to the participant
• Phone number
• Email address
• Other information reasonably necessary to facilitate appropriate communication

Participants are responsible for accurately identifying whose information they are submitting.

Participants should not enter their own phone number, email address, or other contact information in a field specifically requesting information belonging to another person or falsely represent their own information as belonging to a father/wali, wakeel, trusted family member, reference, or other third party.

Haqq Nikah may reasonably rely on information supplied by participants and cannot independently guarantee that every third-party name, relationship, phone number, email address, or other detail submitted by a participant is accurate.

Providing another person's contact information does not necessarily mean Haqq Nikah will contact that person immediately.

Where Haqq Nikah asks whether it may contact a submitted father/wali, wakeel, trusted family member, or other person, Haqq Nikah will use the participant's response to determine whether direct contact has been authorized or whether the participant should be contacted first.

A sister may indicate that she needs assistance understanding who can appropriately fulfill a role in her marriage process or that she would like to discuss her situation privately with Haqq Nikah.

Haqq Nikah may contact her privately to better understand the circumstances before an inquiry proceeds.

Information shared during such a discussion will be handled according to this Privacy Policy and used as reasonably necessary to understand or facilitate the situation.

Haqq Nikah's role in assisting with this process does not mean that Haqq Nikah itself becomes a participant's wali or assumes the role of an Islamic legal authority.

Where a situation requires Islamic guidance beyond Haqq Nikah's role, Haqq Nikah may suggest that the participant consult an appropriately qualified imam, scholar, or other Islamic authority.

Haqq Nikah is designed to facilitate serious marriage inquiry rather than casual dating or endless private conversation.

When genuine marriage interest develops, appropriate information may be shared as reasonably necessary to determine whether both individuals wish to investigate marriage further.

Depending on the circumstances, information may be shared with or between:

• The specific marriage prospects
• A father/wali
• A wakeel
• A trusted family member
• A reference
• Another person appropriately involved in the marriage process
• Service providers reasonably necessary to facilitate the process

Haqq Nikah does not ordinarily publish private father/wali, wakeel, trusted-family, or other private contact information publicly.

Haqq Nikah's facilitation of an inquiry does not replace the responsibility of individuals and families to conduct appropriate investigation and exercise judgment before marriage.

Participants are expected to provide truthful, materially accurate, and reasonably current information.

Haqq Nikah may ask questions, request clarification, or take reasonable steps to address concerns regarding information that appears inaccurate, inconsistent, misleading, or potentially fraudulent.

However, Haqq Nikah cannot guarantee that every statement made by a participant, marriage prospect, family member, reference, or other person is true, complete, current, or accurate.

Haqq Nikah is not responsible for independently verifying every statement concerning a person's character, religious practice, marital history, finances, family circumstances, employment, health, intentions, relationships, references, or other personal circumstances.

Marriage prospects and their families remain responsible for conducting their own appropriate investigation before marriage.

Haqq Nikah may use third-party services to operate portions of the service.

These services may include providers used for:

• Online forms
• Website hosting
• Email and communications
• File storage
• Video or audio communication
• Social media
• Analytics
• Business administration
• Other technical or operational services

For example, Haqq Nikah may use Jotform or similar services to receive Private Sister Registrations, Brother Participation Forms, Serious Marriage Inquiry Forms, media uploads, and other submissions.

Information submitted through or processed by a third-party service may also be processed, transmitted, or stored by that provider according to its own privacy policy, security practices, and terms.

Haqq Nikah does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party service providers.

Haqq Nikah may publish authorized Marriage Introductions and related public content on social-media platforms.

These platforms may include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, or other platforms used by Haqq Nikah.

When authorized content is published on a third-party platform, use of that platform is also subject to the platform's own privacy policy and terms.

Public Marriage Introductions may be viewed by people who are not registered with or otherwise known to Haqq Nikah.

Participants should understand the public nature of social-media publication before authorizing publication.

Private Sister Registration or submission of a Serious Marriage Inquiry Form does not, by itself, authorize Haqq Nikah to create or publish a public Marriage Introduction for that sister.

When someone visits the Haqq Nikah website, certain technical information may be collected automatically by Haqq Nikah's website provider or other service providers.

Depending on the services being used, this may include:

• IP address
• Browser type
• Device type
• Operating system
• Pages visited
• Approximate location derived from an IP address
• Referring website
• Date and time of visits
• Cookies or similar technologies

Haqq Nikah may use this information for website operation, security, analytics, troubleshooting, and improving the visitor experience.

Third-party website and technical service providers may also process this information according to their own privacy policies and practices.

The Haqq Nikah website or services used to operate the website may use cookies and similar technologies.

• With a father/wali, wakeel, trusted family member, reference, or other appropriate person when reasonably necessary and consistent with the applicable process or authorization
• With service providers reasonably necessary to operate Haqq Nikah
• As reasonably necessary to facilitate a requested marriage inquiry
• When required by applicable law, court order, subpoena, or lawful governmental request
• When reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, threats, safety concerns, or violations of our policies
• To establish, exercise, or defend legal rights
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Haqq Nikah, our participants, or others
• In connection with a legitimate business restructuring, merger, acquisition, or transfer, subject to applicable law

Haqq Nikah does not sell personal information for the purpose of allowing unrelated businesses to independently market products or services to participants.

Haqq Nikah may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide and administer the service
• Maintain participation, submission, authorization, and consent records
• Facilitate or document marriage inquiries
• Respond to questions, inquiries, or privacy requests
• Resolve disputes
• Protect against fraud, misrepresentation, or misuse
• Maintain appropriate business records
• Comply with legal obligations
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable requirements.

A request to remove a public Marriage Introduction does not necessarily require Haqq Nikah to immediately destroy every internal record associated with that introduction or the participant.

Similarly, ending or discontinuing a Serious Marriage Inquiry does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every internal record relating to the inquiry.

Haqq Nikah may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for consent, authorization, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal, or legitimate business purposes.

A participant may contact Haqq Nikah to request removal of their Marriage Introduction from websites or social-media accounts controlled by Haqq Nikah.

Haqq Nikah will make reasonable efforts to remove the content from platforms under its control.

However, Haqq Nikah cannot guarantee removal from:

• Third-party reposts
• Screenshots
• Screen recordings
• Downloads
• Search-engine caches
• Archived webpages
• Social-media shares
• Copies made by other individuals or organizations
• Platforms or accounts not controlled by Haqq Nikah

Participants should consider this limitation before authorizing public publication.

If you believe information maintained or published by Haqq Nikah about you is materially inaccurate, you may contact us and request a correction.

Haqq Nikah may request reasonable information to verify your identity before changing, disclosing, or deleting personal information or taking other action on a privacy request.

Haqq Nikah takes reasonable administrative and technical steps intended to protect information in our possession or control.

However, no website, online form, email system, file-storage system, social-media platform, third-party service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Participants should use reasonable caution when sending sensitive information electronically.

Please do not send highly sensitive information that Haqq Nikah has not requested.

Haqq Nikah Marriage Introductions, Private Sister Registration, and Serious Marriage Inquiries are intended for adults age 18 or older who are legally eligible to pursue marriage.

Haqq Nikah does not knowingly solicit participation in these services from children under 18.

If Haqq Nikah becomes aware that a person under 18 has submitted personal information for participation in these services, Haqq Nikah may take reasonable steps to remove the information and discontinue the participation.

Participants who have children should not submit unnecessary identifying information about their children, such as children's full names, schools, addresses, contact information, or other information that could unnecessarily identify or locate them.

Marriage introductions and inquiries can involve personal and sensitive subjects.

Participants should provide only information reasonably necessary for the Haqq Nikah process and should avoid unnecessarily submitting highly sensitive information through public or unsecured channels.

Certain matters may be more appropriate for private discussion and appropriate investigation after mutual initial interest rather than inclusion in a public Marriage Introduction or initial inquiry.

Haqq Nikah may request that a participant use a particular form, communication method, or other process when sensitive information needs to be discussed.

The Haqq Nikah website, Marriage Introductions, communications, or social-media pages may contain links to third-party websites or services.

Haqq Nikah is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or policies of websites or services that Haqq Nikah does not control.

Participants and visitors should review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing personal information to them.

Haqq Nikah provides a marriage-introduction service.

Haqq Nikah does not guarantee:

• That a participant will receive marriage inquiries
• That an inquiry will be presented or proceed
• That either person will choose to continue after an inquiry is presented
• That an inquiry will result in marriage
• Compatibility between individuals
• The truthfulness of every statement made by another person
• The character or conduct of another participant or third party
• The success or duration of any marriage
• Any particular religious, personal, financial, or family outcome

Individuals and families remain responsible for conducting appropriate investigation and making their own marriage decisions.

Depending on applicable law and the nature of your relationship with Haqq Nikah, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

You may contact Haqq Nikah to request, where applicable:

• Correction of inaccurate information
• Removal of a public Marriage Introduction from Haqq Nikah-controlled platforms
• Information regarding personal information maintained about you
• Deletion of certain personal information, subject to lawful or legitimate retention requirements
• Withdrawal of certain permissions for future use, where applicable

Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, recordkeeping requirements, previously authorized public distribution, third-party activity outside Haqq Nikah's control, security needs, dispute-resolution requirements, or other lawful reasons.

Haqq Nikah may take reasonable steps to verify the identity of the person making a privacy request before acting upon it.

Haqq Nikah is a United States-based Muslim marriage-introduction service and currently operates primarily for individuals seeking marriage within the United States.

Information may be processed and stored in the United States or in locations where Haqq Nikah's service providers operate.

If you access or use Haqq Nikah from outside the United States, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

Haqq Nikah may update this Privacy Policy as the service develops, technology changes, or legal and operational requirements change.

When material changes are made, the updated Privacy Policy will be posted with a revised effective date.

Where applicable law or the nature of a change requires additional notice or consent, Haqq Nikah may take additional steps before applying the changed practice.
