HAQQ NIKAH MARRIAGE INTRODUCTION PARTICIPATION & MEDIA POLICY

Haqq Nikah Marriage Introductions are designed to help individuals who are seriously seeking marriage learn enough about a prospective spouse to decide whether they would like to pursue a serious marriage inquiry.

This policy explains how photographs, video, audio, personal information, statements, and other materials voluntarily provided by participants for a Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction may be recorded, edited, used, published, distributed, promoted, and removed.

Participation in a Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction is voluntary.

Depending on the Marriage Introduction format you choose, you may voluntarily provide Haqq Nikah with:

• Photographs
• Video recordings
• Voice or audio recordings
• Biographical information
• Answers to Marriage Introduction questions
• Statements made during an interview
• Written answers or submissions
• Other information or media reasonably necessary to create your Marriage Introduction

• Creating and editing your Haqq Nikah Marriage Introduction
• Presenting the completed Marriage Introduction to you for review where review is provided
• Publishing your approved Marriage Introduction on Haqq Nikah's website and social-media channels
• Distributing your approved Marriage Introduction through platforms used by Haqq Nikah
• Creating reasonable excerpts, clips, thumbnails, captions, previews, or other promotional versions derived from your approved Marriage Introduction for the purpose of helping prospective marriage partners discover the Introduction
• Sharing or promoting your Marriage Introduction itself through Haqq Nikah's channels

Such publication or promotion may occur through Haqq Nikah's website and platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, or other channels Haqq Nikah may reasonably use for Marriage Introductions.

Haqq Nikah will not sell your submitted photographs, video, or voice recordings to unrelated third parties or use your identity or submitted media to endorse unrelated products or services without separate permission where required.

Where Haqq Nikah provides a completed Marriage Introduction to you for review before first publication, you should review it carefully and promptly communicate any material concerns.

Haqq Nikah will not knowingly first publish a completed Marriage Introduction that you have expressly declined to approve.

Your approval of the completed Marriage Introduction authorizes Haqq Nikah to publish and distribute that approved Marriage Introduction in accordance with this policy.

Approval does not prevent you from later requesting removal as described below.

Haqq Nikah may edit submitted or recorded material for:

• Length
• Clarity
• Formatting
• Sound quality
• Image or video quality
• Presentation
• Organization
• Captions or subtitles
• Platform formatting
• Consistency with the Haqq Nikah Marriage 

Introduction format

Haqq Nikah may also create shorter excerpts or clips from an approved Marriage Introduction for distribution or promotion of that Marriage Introduction.

Haqq Nikah will not intentionally edit a participant's statements in a manner designed to materially change their meaning or falsely represent the participant as saying something they did not say.

Participants are responsible for providing truthful, materially accurate, and reasonably current information to the best of their knowledge.

Publication of a Marriage Introduction does not constitute an endorsement, certification, verification, or guarantee by Haqq Nikah regarding a participant's identity, character, religious practice, statements, marital history, family circumstances, finances, employment, background, compatibility, or suitability for marriage.

Haqq Nikah may request clarification when information appears inconsistent, materially inaccurate, or raises reasonable concerns.

Prospective spouses and their families remain responsible for conducting appropriate inquiries and investigation before marriage.

Information collected for Private Sister Registration, Serious Marriage Inquiry, administrative, verification, communication, or other private operational purposes is not automatically part of a public Marriage Introduction.

Submitting private information to Haqq Nikah does not authorize Haqq Nikah to publicly publish that information merely because it has been submitted.

Information submitted privately may be used or privately shared as reasonably necessary for the particular purpose for which it was provided and in accordance with Haqq Nikah's Privacy Policy and applicable participant authorization.

For example, information or a photograph submitted as part of a Serious Marriage Inquiry may be privately presented to the specific marriage prospect as reasonably necessary to facilitate that inquiry without becoming public Marriage Introduction content.

Private disclosure for the purpose of facilitating a Serious Marriage Inquiry is not the same as authorization for public publication.

Haqq Nikah will not intentionally convert privately submitted information or media into a public Marriage Introduction without appropriate authorization.

An approved Marriage Introduction may be publicly accessible to people who are not registered with or otherwise known to Haqq Nikah.

Once a Marriage Introduction or excerpt is published publicly on the internet or social media, other people may view, save, screenshot, screen-record, download, share, repost, index, archive, or otherwise distribute that material.

Third-party platforms may also process public content according to their own terms, privacy policies, and technical systems.

Haqq Nikah cannot control or guarantee deletion of copies made, stored, indexed, or distributed outside platforms or accounts controlled by Haqq Nikah.

You may request that Haqq Nikah stop actively displaying your Marriage Introduction and Haqq Nikah-created excerpts of that Introduction on websites, social-media accounts, and other channels controlled by Haqq Nikah.

This may be requested at any time, including if you marry, are no longer seeking marriage, or no longer wish to participate.

Haqq Nikah will make reasonable efforts to remove the Marriage Introduction and related Haqq Nikah-controlled public promotional versions from channels under its control.

However, once material has been made public, other people, search engines, platforms, or services may have shared, downloaded, recorded, indexed, cached, archived, or reposted it.

Haqq Nikah cannot guarantee deletion or removal of copies outside Haqq Nikah's control.

Removal of publicly displayed material also does not necessarily require Haqq Nikah to destroy internal records that may reasonably be retained for consent, authorization, security, dispute-resolution, legal, or legitimate business purposes.

Haqq Nikah facilitates marriage introductions.

Participation does not guarantee that you will:

• Receive a Serious Marriage Inquiry
• Receive a particular amount of attention or exposure
• Find a compatible prospective spouse
• Proceed beyond an initial inquiry
• Marry

Haqq Nikah does not guarantee the truthfulness, intentions, compatibility, character, or conduct of another participant, marriage prospect, family member, or person who makes an inquiry.

Each person and family remains responsible for appropriate investigation and for making their own marriage decisions.

Before Haqq Nikah first publishes a participant's Marriage Introduction, the participant will be asked to affirmatively consent to participation and acknowledge the applicable Marriage Introduction participation, media, and publication terms.

Participation is voluntary.

Consent to a public Marriage Introduction is distinct from submitting information privately through Private Sister Registration or a Serious Marriage Inquiry.

This policy specifically addresses participation in and use of content associated with Haqq Nikah Marriage Introductions.

Haqq Nikah's Privacy Policy explains more broadly how personal information may be collected, used, shared, retained, and protected.

Haqq Nikah's Terms & Conditions govern use of and participation in the Haqq Nikah service more generally.

If information is submitted for a particular private purpose, such as Private Sister Registration or a Serious Marriage Inquiry, its treatment is governed by the applicable process, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and any specific authorization provided by the participant.

Haqq Nikah may update this policy as the Marriage Introduction service develops, technology changes, or operational or legal requirements change.

The effective date displayed above identifies the current version.

Changes to this policy do not retroactively expand Haqq Nikah's permission to use previously submitted participant media for materially different purposes where additional authorization or consent is required.
